Bericht über den letzten oder die Tagesordnung des kommenden FSRs.

Vor zwei Wochen hat die Informatikfakultät die Information bekommen, dass unsere Fakultät ein*e Professor*in (bevorzugt eine Professorin) für den diesjährigen Preis für gute Lehre des StMWK nominieren darf (siehe Anhang). Ausgehend von den Ergebnissen der Lehrveranstaltungsevaluation würde diese gerne entweder Frau Prof. Eckert oder Frau Prof. Klinker nominieren.

Da die Fakultät diese Entscheidung gerne gemeinsam mit uns als Fachschaft treffen möchte wurden wir gebeten dies zu diskutieren und zurückzumelden welche der beiden Professorinnen wir nominieren möchten. Die Empfehlung muss zusammen mit einer Stellungnahme der Fachschaft und einem Schreiben des Studiendekans bis zum 15.09.22 beim CST (TUM Center for Study and Teaching) eingereicht werden.
 

Two weeks ago, the informatics faculty received a notice that our faculty may nominate a professor (preferably a female professor) for this year's award for good teaching of the StMWK (see attachment). Based on the results of the course evaluation, the faculty would like to nominate either Prof. Eckert or Prof. Klinker.

Since the faculty would like to make this decision together with us as a student body, we were asked to discuss this and report back which of the two professors we would like to nominate. The recommendation has to be submitted to the CST (TUM Center for Study and Teaching) together with a statement of the student council and a letter of the dean of studies until 15 September 2022.
 

Anhang

Wie ihr euch vielleicht erinnert, wird derzeit ein Bundesweiter Tarifvertrag für studentische Hilfskräfte (HiWis, Tutoren, ...) ausverhandelt. Vor einigen Monaten hatten wir ja schon einmal eine Dame der Gewerkschaft ver.di am Ausschuss zu Gast die uns mehr darüber erzählt und um Unterstützung geworben hat. In der vergangenen Tarifrunde der Länder haben sich der Arbeitgeberverband der Länder (TdL) und die beteiligten Gewerkschaften in ihrem Tarifabschluss nun auf eine Bestandsaufnahme über die Arbeitsbedingungen studentischer Beschäftigter verständigt. Zur Vorbereitung dieser Gespräche führen die Gewerkschaften ver.di und GEW in Kooperation mit dem Institut Arbeit und Wirtschaft (iaw) der Universität Bremen eine bundesweite Befragung studentischer Beschäftigter durch:

Prinzipiell ist der Erfolg der TVStud Verhandlungen ja in unserem Interesse. Leider ist die Umfrage bisher noch nicht besonders erfolgreich an studentische Hilfskräfte der TUM durchgedrungen. Es wäre daher wirklich Wichtig diese Umfrage auch unter Hilfskräften an der TUM zu verbreiten, um unsere Perspektive einzubringen und die Verhandlungsposition im Sinne der Studentischen Hilfskräfte zu stärken.

Für die Verbreitung würde ich mitunter gerne die öffentlichen Kanäle der Fachschaft nutzen. Darüber hinaus würde ich jede*n von euch bitten die Umfrage in Eigeninitiative in euerem Bekanntenkreis weiterzugeben und ggf selbst auszufüllen falls diese euch betrifft (e.g. Tutoren unter euch).

As you may remember, a nationwide collective agreement for student assistants called TVStud (HiWis, tutors, ...) is currently being negotiated. A few months ago we had a lady from the union ver.di at the "FSMPI Ausschuss" who told us more about the negotiations of the agreement and asked for support. In the last round of negotiations the federal states, the employers' association of the federal states (TdL) and the participating unions have now agreed in their collective bargaining agreement to evaluate the working conditions of student assistants. In preparation for these talks, the unions ver.di and GEW are conducting a nationwide survey of student assistants in cooperation with the Institute for Work and Economics (iaw) at the University of Bremen:

In general, the success of the TVStud negotiations is in our interest. Unfortunately, the survey has not yet been very successful in reaching student assistants at TUM. Therefore, it would be really important to spread this survey among the student assistants at TUM in order to bring in our perspective and to strengthen the negotiation position of the student assistants.

For the distribution of the survey I would like to use the public channels of the departmental student council. In addition, I would like to ask each of you to take the initiative to pass on the survey to your acquaintances and, if necessary, to fill it out yourself if it concerns you (e.g. tutors among you).
